CERTIFICATE/APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Part
2: Out-of-school co-op placement in a licensed salon.
In
your co-op placement you will:

practice the skills you have learned in the in-school
courses, under the supervision of a qualified hair
stylist in a licensed salon.

earn 4 credits towards your diploma while accumulating
360 hours towards your apprenticeship
- learn
job search skills, employment laws, and the culture
of the hairstyling salon
- develop
the confidence to work as a professional hairstylist
- prepare
a winning resume that highlights your skills
- develop
the communication skills needed for job interviews
- prepare
a flexible, realistic career plan
- acquire
valuable experience in a Canadian hairstyling salon

register in any of the certificate programs, come to
Students Services between 8:30 and 3:30 to pick up a
registration information letter and package.
