Introduction to Healthcare

Introduction to Healthcare was a very big eye opening experience for me. At first, I did not know what to expect and found it difficult to adjust and get back into the routine of school. I had not been in a school setting for a long time but Ms. Kaba’s class was quite different from what I was used to in the past. It was an environment to be creative, have fun, learn a lot about anatomy that I never knew, make new friends, and set a foundation to be well prepared and equipped for my future studies and career goals.
In the first few weeks I actually thought of dropping out to focus on work, because that was my comfort zone and what I knew. But Ms. Kaba encouraged me to tough it out and finish what I started to empower myself to have a better future. My plan is to become a PSW. And from Introduction to Health I feel more ready and know more of what to expect for next Quad. Thank you Ms. Kaba!”

“We want to say big thanks to this program, because coming to this program has helped us a lot in terms of health care and many more. We realized the benefits of nutrition and team work. Most of us are new to Canada and this was a great way to learn the Canadian school system. We made friends, and are better equipped for our next course, PSW.
We want to encourage anyone thinking of going into the health care field to take this program seriously because they will benefit a lot. It is a great stepping stone to any health care career program.
Thanks to our teacher Ms. Kaba, for being there to answer all our questions and she made schooling very easy.”
